Description
The C1 line of speakers from JL are nestled in a category of their own, still boasting all quality and high-end engineering thatโs associated with the JL name, while still being an entry point for those who may not be looking for audiophile level sound quality but still want a high-quality replacement for factory speakers.
Despite being โentry levelโ speakers, the C1-525xโs still provide a clear listening experience thatโs sure to please any casual listener! With their bright yellow woofers, the C1 series speakers pop from the start; the injection molded polypropylene cones are suspended with a rubber surround on the front, and a carefully engineered spider at the top of the voice coil, to help control motion and also prevent impact between the voice coil and the back plate. Tinsel leads are carefully routed and attached to the spider to prevent fatigue and buzzing. All of these features are all typically found in speakers from a much higher price range.
