The M7-12IB is designed to be used without a dedicated enclosure, while still providing that rich, heart pounding bass that JL is known for. At the heart of this subwoofer is the 4-inch voice coil paired with a rugged suspension system that deliver incredible linear excursion for high output and power handling.All of that performance doesn’t go without a dash of flare either. The M7-12IB features JL’s Transflective RGB LED technology that gives you a smooth, colorful lighting effect throughout the woofer cone. Select from several color presets to match your desired mood, or pair the M7-12IB with an optional RGB controller to created thousands of color variations to match any style or setup.
This is a high-powered subwoofer that’s best used with an amplifier in the range of 200W – 600W and works best when there is a large volume of air behind it.

Holding the M7-12IB together is a durable casing that’s engineered to withstand UV rays from the sun, corrosion from saltwater, and general water/moisture buildup from day-to-day marine use, making sure it’ll look good as new even after years of use. The front of the subwoofer features a gray metallic trim ring, and a titanium sport grille that give it a sleek, and sporty feel.
