Plenty of Power
The JL Audio RD1500/1 boasts a whopping 1500 W of output power that can be delivered at either 1 or 2 ohms (14.4V, 1% THD) meaning youโll be able to hear the bass clearly over the noise of the road. This amp definitely doesnโt pull any punches in the power delivery department, and thanks to JLโs proprietary NexDโข Technology all of that power is delivered to you in an efficient way that minimizes the load put on your carโs electrical system and reduces distortion.
Superior Sound Control
JL has taken the hassle out of tuning your sub systemโs sound by placing the controls at the the top of the amp underneath a convenient protective cover. This amp also features a 12 dB / octave low-pass filter with continuously variable frequency selection from 50-500 Hz, as well as a variable bass boost EQ. Automatic turn-on capability (via signal sensing or DC-offset sensing) is standard, along with a set of preamp outputs so you can pass signals to another amplifier with ease.
Quality and Design
The RD1500/1 is built using durable materials and features a black powder-coated finish giving it a sleek, modern look. Accenting all of this is a blue LED strip that also acts as a status/condition indicator.
